Step 1 - Collecting and Mailing
From researchers, photographers, wildlife enthusiast, hunters and just everyday people are using camera traps now a days. We work with individuals and companies to gather old and new camera traps.
Step 2a - Quality ControlWe want to make sure that every camera that goes out to the field is working and ready for the important job at hand. We are lucky to have the Brevard Zoo Teen Conservation Volunteers on our team. These dedicated young conservationist do all the intake and testing of the cameras before they are handed over to the field projects. The check everything on the cameras things like photo quality, battery life and to make sure all parts are there.
Without this dedicated group of teens testing would take a lot longer and that would mean it would take longer for the cameras to reach their field project. |
